The weather in
Spokane was just right to make some of the best fall colors we
have seen in years. Our sunflower seed feeder and suet hanger,
which are usually a hub for smaller birds, have seized the attention
of some larger visitors. Steller’s jays, northern flickers,
and magpies have joined the crowd! Fortunately, the nuthatches,
chickadees, and finches are not bothered by the antics of the
larger birds grabbing a snack from feeders not designed for their
size. |
