It was August in Yellowstone National Park, I had finished my stay and was leaving in the rain. But, just as I was passing this open water area, the sun broke out and I spotted these three white pelicans vying for fish. They glowed in the transitional light. A lot of other vehicles then stopped (probably thinking I had spotted something "exciting" like a bear or moose), but for me, these three were exciting.
