ORIGINAL OIL by Linda Besse 17" X 6.25" $1250 The first time I saw mountain goats in the wild is seared in my mind. I was climbing down a steep peak in the northern Cascade Mts of Washington and just below me on a flat snow bank was a herd of goats. It was spring and the goat kids were leaping straight up from the snow. They looked like pogo sticks with their bounding. The adults were nearby enjoying the fresh greens peaking through the snow. |
