The last day I spent in the field in Labrador was a winner. I witnessed about a thousand caribou cross the lake at sun-up then trekked all over some really high ground in the afternoon. Late in the day, we saw a large herd dominated by 2 large bulls. The bull here is the smaller of the two we saw. What a thrill!
