While at Lake Nakuru in Kenya, I watched three separate attempts by hyenas to fill their stomachs with a pink feathered entree. The hyena failed each time. The score, flamingos -3, hyenas -0. I thought it would be interesting to paint them teaming up as I am sure they do upon occasion, and it made for a more dramatic composition.
